The Orange County Public Library System consists of three branches located in The City of Irvine.
- Heritage Park Regional Libary is located at 14361 Yale Avenue, and is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and from Noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

Katie Wheeler Library is located at 13109 Old Myford Road, near the intersection of Jamboree and Irvine Boulevard, and is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and from Noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. University Park Library is located at 4512 Sandburg Way, near Lexicon, and is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and from Noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. For information, call (949) 786-4001.
