The Irvine Fine Arts Center will host the 19th annual Studio Arts Festival on Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The juried Festival will showcase more than 100 Southern California artists and their original works of art in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, painting, photography, textiles and glass. Recycle your aluminum, glass and plastic beverage containers in May to help one of four local non-profits in the Irvine Cans for Cash + Recycling Challenge. City of Irvine Draft 2013-2021 Housing Element
The City of Irvine is beginning the process of updating its Housing Element, which will establish the City's housing goals and policies through October 15, 2021. The draft Housing Element is now available for public review. Copies of the draft Housing Element are available for review on May 1, 2013 at the Community Development Department, 1 Civic Center Plaza, Irvine, California, 92606 or by clicking on the documents below. The Planning Commission will consider and make recommendations on the Housing Element at its May 16, 2013 meeting. Written comments must be submitted to the Amy Mullay, Senior Planner at P.O. Box 19575, Irvine, CA 92623-9575 or by email at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
