“Return Home Registry” Forum

The Irvine Police Department announces a program to help quickly identify, locate and return home individuals who may become lost or confused away from their home.  

Families, caregivers and media is invited to come learn about this innovative program designed to better serve the community and assist police officers in returning persons who may have walked away from their homes. These include individuals with conditions such as Dementia, Developmental Disabilities, Autism and others with developmental disorders or special needs.

With the Return Home Registry, Police in Irvine will have the tools to help quickly identify, locate and return home individuals who are lost or confused. This voluntary program is available at no cost to participants, family members and caregivers. All information provided will remain confidential and only be used by law enforcement personnel. It is not necessary to bring at risk family members to this informational seminar.
