Officer Hillyard Recognized for Auto Theft Recovery

On Tuesday, June 19, 2012, Officer Hillyard was recognized by the Auto Theft Advisory Committee at their 22^nd annual Vehicle Theft Recovery award ceremony.   The awards were presented during a brunch at the Irvine Marriott. 

The Irvine Police Department Honor Guard opened the annual event with the presentation of Colors.  Chief Maggard and Commander Hamel were on hand to congratulate Officer Hillyard.

The Auto Theft Advisory Committee (A.T.A.C.) is a partnership between law enforcement, the insurance industry and other auto-related companies and is a subcommittee of the Western States Auto Theft Investigators Association, Southern Chapter.
