Free Paper Shredding for Irvine Residents

The City of Irvine is hosting a free shredding event to help residents safely and securely recycle unwanted and confidential documents. Residents can recycle up to five bankers-size boxes. There will be a mobile shredding units available at each location and alll items accepted will be shredded on-site. Click here for the flier.

TIME: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

* Lakeview Senior Center – 20 Lake Road, Irvine
* Turtle Rock Community Park – 1 Sunnyhill, Irvine

Donate Your Unwanted or Slightly Used Clothing
Spring cleaning doesn't need to stop with your paper items, local charitable organizations will also be available to accept unwanted or slightly used clothing.

Free Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center
6411 Oak Canyon Ave., Irvine

HOURS OF OPERATION:
9 a.m.-3 p.m
Tuesday – Saturday (closed on rainy days and holidays)

A maximum of 15 gallons or 125 pounds may be transported per vehicle.
Ask for a free home hazardous waste container tray or battery bucket when you visit the center
