IRVINE, CA -- Police are asking for the help of the media and the public in locating a missing adult by the name of BOBBY NATHAN SIMPSON. Mr. Simpson was last seen yesterday, March 29, 2005 in the mid-day hours in the area of the Irvine Regional Hospital and Medical Center located at Sand Canyon and Alton, in Irvine. Mr. Simpson was being treated at the hospital relating to an intentional overdose of aspirin taken during an apparent suicide attempt. There is a serious concern regarding Mr. Simpson’s medical and psychological condition. Mr. Simpson left the medical facility at approximately 7:00 a.m. on the 29th and was last seen in the area of an adjacent bike trail at about 12:15 p.m. that same day. An exhaustive search continues to be conducted by Irvine Police officers, local regional police helicopter aerial surveillance and the Orange County Sheriff’s bloodhound team. Mr. Simpson is described as follows:

BOBBY NATHAN SIMPSON
Male, Filipino
5’5”, 175 lbs
short brown hair, brown eyes
32 years of age
Last seen wearing a pair of blue shorts
