The personnel assigned to the Front Desk of the Irvine Police Department are trained to provide Livescan and ink fingerprinting services to residents and visitors to the City of Irvine during scheduled hours of operation.  

As of April 10, 2012, all fingerprinting services are by appointment only.

All appointments are scheduled on a "first come first served" basis. If you miss your appointment, you must schedule a new appointment date and time.

Please contact the Front Business Desk at (949) 724-7000 to schedule your appointment. You must bring a state or federal form of photo identification with you to your appointment. Payment may only be made by cash or check only (we cannot process payments by credit card).  Please make your personal checks payable to the City of Irvine. We apologize for the inconvienence, but we cannot accept bills over $50. Fingerprinting hours are subject to change based on availability.

We do not process fingerprints for the Immigration & Naturalization Service (INS) for U.S. Citizenship. The INS has fingerprinting locations designated for this service.

LIVESCAN FINGERPRINTING

Livescan is $10.00 per license plus any additional fees for services requested by the requestor. In order to reduce the risk of having your Livescan rejected, please bring your own forms. Please bring an official state or federal form of identification.

INK FINGERPRINTING

The California Department of Justice no longer accepts ink fingerprint cards for California Processing. Federal and out-of-state ink cards are still valid. Please bring an official state or federal form of identification.

Cards are available upon request.

The cost for rolled fingerprints is $10.00 per license.
