Irvine Police Search For Suspect In Shooting - Suspect In Custody

Irvine, CA (February 9, 2007): Irvine officers responded to a home in the 4000 block of Salacia in the City of Irvine at 9:21 p.m. in regards to a female that had just been shot.  Officers discovered a female in the residence had sustained a gun shot wound to the head.  Orange County Fire Authority paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where she is in extremely critical condition.

Irvine Police Detectives conducted follow-up investigations and shortly after 3:30 a.m.  Naimat was taken into custody at the home of an acquaintance in the City of Lake Forrest, CA.
