Arrest For Sexual Molestation

On March 23, 2006, Detectives from the Irvine Police Department arrested ANTHONY TUN LEE, M.D. based on an arrest warrant for the charges of child molestation. This arrest was based upon an investigation conducted by the Irvine Police Department .  The assualts are alleged to have occurred in Irvine and during an extended time period.  Because of the age of the victim and the sensitive nature of this investigation as well as laws governing confidentiality of victims of sex crimes, no information about the investigation can be released at this time.

 

Because Dr. Lee is a licensed and practicing physician, the Medical Board of California has been advised of the arrest and is involved in the investigation.  The Medical Board acts to protect the public by licensing and regulating California’s physicians.

 

Search warrants were also served by Irvine officers at Dr. Lee’s office in Anaheim, CA and at his residence in Villa Park, CA.

 

Dr. Lee was booked in the Orange County Jail today on $100,000.00 bail.  His information is:
