|TECHNICIAN & INSTRUCTORS|
The Irvine Fine Arts Center’s Printmaking Studio is maintained and operated by qualified studio volunteers alongside one specialized City-employed Printmaking Technician. Our hard-working volunteers and Technician constantly support the studio in guiding both new and seasoned studio users in order to ensure that studio equipment and supplies are utilized safely while supporting the Irvine Fine Art Center’s Art Education curriculum goals.
Jamie Russom is a working artist, technician and educator, focusing her attention in the areas of print and ceramics. Upon completion of her BFA degree from Long Beach State University, Jamie has since worked in various positions in the arts which has helped to fuel her passion for various forgotten artistic processes – driving her to create and maintain programs that will once again be revived and continue to gain popularity. In conjunction with her current position at the Irvine Fine Arts Center, Jamie also works at Otis College of Art and Design assisting students in the areas of letterpress and printmaking. She continues to exhibit her personal artwork nationally and is the creator and proprietor of Moon in June Press.
In addition to our studio’s experienced technician, here is a current listing of our Printmaking Instructors who are committed to providing a safe learning environment that supports the mission and philosophy of the Irvine Fine Arts Center.
