The Irvine Animal Care Center is excited to learn you are interested in becoming a special event volunteer. The Center recruits volunteers for the following two events: Super Pet Adoption in June and Home for the Holidays in December. Event volunteering is a great choice for groups, individuals who cannot make the time commitment of a regular shelter volunteer, teenagers not yet old enough to volunteer at the shelter or who require community service hours for school, and for anyone with a passion for helping animals. Event volunteers must meet the following requirenments:

  • Be at least 15 years of age
  • Be able to work outdoors
  • Not be volunteering for a court-mandated reason

If you do not meet the age requirement or are looking for an additional way to help, join the Center's flier committee! More information is below.

If you are interested in any of the shifts below, or would like more information, please email Crystal Nettles.
